Nighthawk
I've loved this character ever since he first showed up in Supreme Power. The battle with Nighthawk, Hyperion and Blur against the serial killer Redstone was crazy. Great stuff.
Recently, I was a big fan of the Squadron Supreme title, and I'm an even bigger fan of the solo Nighthawk series with the social and political stories. Plus, those Cowan/Sienkiewicz covers are killer!
This piece was created in Daz Studio and Blender.
Brand new Earth, same old problems. Originally from an Earth that no longer exists (thanks to the events of Secret Wars), Nighthawk vows to never let that kind of harm come to his newfound home.
First steps in Blender after importing from Daz.
I had the toughest time with this foreground building. Just couldn't decide how to texture it.
I love dealing with the city windows, but sometimes it can be a pain to get the right look.
I was testing out the rain here, but I ended up having to throw that into a separate render.
Here I was testing the bokeh effects and depth of field. Sometimes it's more trouble that it's worth, and you might as well do it in Photoshop.
