Magneto's Helmet

I love the Magneto character. There's just so much history and so many political hooks you can play around with. I buy almost anything he's in. Although I likely won't buy the upcoming X-Men series with him as the instructors to the Original 5 X-Men. I cannot stand the O5, so I just can't do it.

Anyway, my fondest wish would be to get someone who actually understand physics to write Magneto, so we could really see the applications that a genius level intellect with complete control of electromagnetism can actually do.

That way we wouldn't be getting any of the "non-ferrous metal" or "plastic" defenses that we usually see. That sort of thing might stop Electro, but not a genius like Magneto.

I made the whole piece in Blender, and I used a lot of the John Byrne drawings as the reference. That front "horn piece" is drawn in a dizzying number of ways, so you just gotta choose one.

This helmet is an icon of strength to some, a symbol of rising up and fighting back against tyranny. To others, it's the symbol of a hateful, mad terrorist who tries to hide his thirst for conquest behind political ideology.
